Hydration Without Calories
(Ivanhoe Newswire) – A new sports drink that describes itself as
a zero-calorie, zero sweetener water beverage may be a good option
for athletes seeking hydration. A new study presented at the
American College of Sports Medicine Annual Meeting demonstrated
that Aqua-Lyte doesn't contain the sugars, calories and artificial
ingredients many sports beverages offer consumers.
![]() Researchers say Aqua-Lyte is for those who do not want or need the extra calories or artificial ingredients in other traditional sports drinks. They say Aqua-Lyte has added electrolytes, but no artificial sweeteners or ingredients, so it tastes like water. Furthermore, they say the participants did not have the bloated feeling after drinking Aqua-Lyte as compared to the sugar containing beverages. They feel this study shows Aqua-Lyte is the only zero-calorie, hydration and fitness beverage scientifically proven to hydrate as well as a leading sports drink. Scientific Food Solutions, LLC is a nutritional bioactive innovation and research company that focuses on applications for dietary supplement, conventional and functional food and beverage, and over the counter drug applications.
